Your safari begins early with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, followed by a scenic drive through Kenya’s countryside to Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Along the way, enjoy views of the Rift Valley escarpments and the rolling savannah. After check-in at your lodge or camp and lunch, head out on your first game drive where you’ll start spotting wildlife. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo as the golden light of the African sunset settles across the plains. Dinner and overnight in the reserve.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game viewing in Masai Mara. Today’s schedule includes morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch in the park. With its expansive open grasslands and abundant wildlife, Masai Mara gives you excellent chances to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and an array of birdlife. Optional activities like a visit to a Maasai village or a hot-air balloon ride over the reserve can be added for extra adventure (at additional cost). Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today is dedicated to fully exploring Amboseli’s rich wildlife and scenic landscapes. After breakfast, set out with your guide for morning and afternoon game drives, taking in the park’s diverse habitats, from marshlands to open plains. Amboseli offers excellent opportunities for photography, especially with mountain views, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and buffalo. Return to your lodge for lunch and a relaxing evening. Dinner and overnight.
Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Amboseli before breakfast, giving one last chance for wildlife sightings in the soft morning light. Spend the late morning at leisure — relax at your lodge, enjoy the views of Kilimanjaro, or meet with your guide for a short cultural visit to a local Maasai community (optional). Afternoon and evening are free to rest, followed by dinner and overnight stay.
On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out of your lodge. Depart Amboseli and begin your return journey to Nairobi, arriving mid-afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your departure flight — concluding your memorable 7-day Kenyan safari.
