Booking Terms & Conditions – Jaypol Africa Safaris

1. Booking & Contract

By confirming a booking with Jaypol Africa Safaris, you agree to these terms. Bookings can be made via email, phone, WhatsApp, or text and are confirmed upon availability and deposit payment.


2. Payments

  • 30% deposit required to secure booking
  • Full payment due 60 days before travel
  • Bookings made within 60 days require full payment upfront
  • Accepted methods: Bank transfer, M-Pesa, or cash

Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation.


3. Pricing

  • Prices are per person (sharing basis) unless stated otherwise
  • Rates may change due to external factors (e.g. park fees, taxes)
  • Prices exclude flights, visas, insurance, tips, and personal expenses unless stated

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • 60+ days before travel: 2% admin fee
  • 60–31 days: 25–50% charge
  • 30–22 days: 70% charge
  • 21 days or less: 100% charge

Note: Peak seasons and some lodges may have stricter (non-refundable) policies.


5. Changes & Modifications

  • Changes may incur fees depending on timing and availability
  • Major itinerary changes by Jaypol will offer alternatives or refunds
  • Travelers must confirm acceptance of major changes within 7 days

6. Travel Flexibility

Itineraries may change due to weather, safety, or unforeseen events. No refunds for unused services after departure.

  • Accommodation & meals as per itinerary
  • Safari transport (4×4 Land Cruiser)
  • Professional driver-guide
  • Park & conservation fees
  • Game drives & bottled water

8. What’s Not Included

  • International & domestic flights
  • Travel insurance
  • Optional activities (e.g. balloon safaris)
  • Tips, drinks, personal expenses
  • Visas and travel documents

9. Flights

Flights are subject to airline terms. Most domestic flights are non-refundable. Jaypol acts only as an agent and is not liable for airline changes or cancellations.


10. Travel Documents

Travelers must have valid passports, visas, and required permits (e.g. Kenya eTA, Tanzania visa). Failure to comply may result in denied travel without refund.


11. Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for medical emergencies, cancellations, and baggage loss.


12. Liability

Jaypol acts as an agent for third-party providers (hotels, airlines, etc.) and is not liable for:

  • Delays, injuries, or losses
  • Acts of nature, strikes, or unforeseen events
  • Third-party service failures

13. Health & Safety

Travel involves inherent risks. Travelers are responsible for their own safety and must follow all guidelines and local laws.


14. Complaints

Any issues should be reported immediately during the trip or within 14 days after travel via email.


15. Data & Privacy

Personal information is used strictly for booking purposes and will not be shared without consent.


16. Governing Law

All agreements are governed by the laws of Kenya.
